It is important to consider several factors when choosing which glove to wear:

What will the gloves be used for? Will you be using the gloves for a lengthy procedure where comfort is a factor, or a quick procedure where price is more important? Different factors may be more important to you depending on what task you are using the gloves for.

Is latex allergy an issue? If you are allergic to latex, or are concerned about developing an allergy, latex should be avoided. Try nitrile or vinyl.

How do they feel? Most manufacturers’ fits are slightly different from each other. Try a box or request samples of a few brands to make sure the gloves fit comfortably on your hands.

What is my budget? Determine the price your practice can ideally afford to spend on gloves.
